How to reach the Conference venue
– Bus connections dedicated to the SIEP2022 conference will be available as follows.
Meeting points: Hotel Federico II; Fontana Luminosa (for the hotels located in the historic center) and Hotel MySuite (formerly Hotel Amiternum, for the hotels located outside the historic center)

– from Rome by bus (bus stop ‘Amiternum’, i.e., the first bus stop): Taxi (+39 0862 0222; +39 0862 25165) or Bus to Ospedale/Coppito – Via Vetoio (we suggest to ask the driver for confirmation).
– from the city center: Bus lines to Coppito Via – Vetoio: bus numbers 1, 2, 2UT, 3, 6S, 6D -15-19 (we suggest to ask the driver for confirmation). Average journey time from the historic center to the conference venue: 45 minutes. Cost: 1.50 Euro.
– by TAXI: ph. 0862 25165; 0862 0222). Travel time: 5 minutes from ‘Amiternum’ stop; 10-12 minutes from historic center. Cost: 8-12 -Euros.
How to reach L’Aquila
Rome – L’Aquila
The easiest way to get to L’Aquila is by bus from Rome Tiburtina Station (suburban Bus Station). The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes (costs around 10 euros each way).
The ‘TUA Bus’ does many daily transfers as well as many stops in the city. The final stop is Collemaggio terminal. From Collemaggio terminal free buses reach the city center (historic center) every 20 minutes.

The ticket can be purchased on the bus, or alternatively at the bus ticket office ‘C’ at the Tiburtina suburban Bus Station, or through the mycicero app https://www.mycicero.it/orari-trasporto/en
Direct buses by the Gaspari company (http://www.gasparionline.it/) are available from Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino airports.
From Fiumicino, Gaspari company buses depart from Terminal 3 Arrivals, stalls no. 5/6.
From Ciampino, buses depart from the parking lot located outside the Departures Terminal.
Pescara – L’Aquila
Buses leave from the bus station in Piazza della Repubblica (next to the Central Railway Station).
The ticket can be purchased at the ticket office of Autolinee TUA in ‘Piazzale della Stazione’ or online here
The journey to L’Aquila takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. The last stop is Collemaggio terminal. From Collemaggio terminal free buses reach the city center (historic center) every 20 minutes.
